Our Company
From Humble beginnings in Philadelphia circa 1974 as a Hobbyist doing small sculptures out of bronze, Copper, Brass and
Iron William Acey found his passion. Fabricating such designs as copper roses and balancing action figures. He began to make
table ornaments and wall sculptures. In 1977 he began traveling up and down the east coast on the exhibiting craft show
circuit. while continuing to polish his skills as a welding artist he worked production under various Master Welders in their
respective shops. In 1979 he joined the US Army where he was trained to do precision welding to government specs. Later
he operated the Army welding shop for the base where he was stationed repairing all of the equipment and handling the
specialty projects. Upon returning to Philadelphia He opened his own shop in the south philly area. In 1983 he adopted
the name "William The Welder" as he was affectionetly known by his clients. Which since then has been the
name of the business which has grown into a full service welding opperation.
